The Dawn Drake Excellence in Distance Education Scholarship was given to Matthew Van Egeren, who has a Master of Science in Engineering. The scholarship was established in honour of Dawn Drake, a former executive director who played a key role in the establishment and expansion of the online programmes at UW-Platteville. Education was Drake’s primary love, and she wished to make it accessible to as many people as she could. The scholarship will be worth $700.
